National History Academy Summer Program for High Schoolers

National History Academy is a five-week residential summer program running from from June 24 to July 28, 2018, and limited to 100 high school students. The Academy is hosted at Foxcroft School in Middleburg, Virginia, just 30 minutes from Dulles Airport. It is operated by Journey Through Hallowed Ground, a congressionally designated nonprofit National Heritage Area that spans from Gettysburg to Monticello. National History Academy emphasizes understanding the foundations of democracy through experiential, place-based learning led by master teachers, distinguished historians and current leaders from a variety of fields and backgrounds. Applications received by May 15, 2018 will be given priority.
