Boba with Berman - Youth Town Hall 10/29
Assemblymember Marc Berman is hosting a Youth Town Hall “Boba with Berman” to hear from youth in his district. Free boba will be provided to the first 200 attendees! The Town Hall will be held on Tuesday, October 29th, from 5-6:30pm at the Fremont High School Cafeteria in Sunnyvale. The event is free and open to the public.
Participants will get to share their views and priorities for California. Do you have ideas for laws? A vision for the future of your state? Policies that you agree or disagree with? Assemblymember Berman wants to hear!
All the high school students, college students, youth groups, and youth commissions are invited to a conversation about the issues of importance to this segment of my district. This will be an opportunity for students to get more involved in their government and make sure their voice is heard.
California has enacted cutting edge legislation on addressing climate change, recycling, criminal justice reform, election security, youth mental health, and housing. Young people are often those most affected by policies enacted today, so it is critical that they have a seat at the table to voice their opinions.
