Teen Docent Program at the Los Altos History Museum

Vol6.jpg

We at Los Altos History Museum are excited to announce a new volunteer opportunity for high school students, the Teen Docent Volunteer Program.

We are searching for dedicated, curious and outgoing young people to become part of our museum volunteer team. They would receive training on how to be a museum docent during a fun, interactive week-long summer immersion workshop. Participants will gain valuable exposure to the ins-and-outs of exhibits and the everyday functioning of a museum while learning about local history and making new friends. Upon completion of training, students would work short, regular monthly shifts during the school year as part of our volunteer docent team.
